Project Summary
Hennessy and Happiness is my personal blog that I launched back in 2017. My vision was to create a space where I can share my life lessons in a humorous and creative way.
The Process
To be honest, I originally didn’t put too much thought into my branding process. I just knew that I liked pink and glitter. As my blog grew, I went through a complete rebrand where I was able to establish stricter branding guidelines, including color schemes, a new logo and new fonts.
This project was my first time working with WordPress, meaning that I had to do a ton of research and watch quick tutorials to get the hang of it. I started off with a template for the original site, but I used Elementor Pro during my rebrand phase. Elementor has since become my go-to for web building.
The Results
The new website for Hennessy and Happiness is much more consistent in terms of branding. As the number of posts began growing, I was also able to add a “Topics” tab in the menu to help organize the posts by topic and make it easier for readers to filter through posts.
